Heartbreaker specializes in marksmanship. All of her equipment is designed to give her an edge in long-range combat.
Marisol Zamora is the daughter of a notorious criminal figure who bought his family's way into space. With a sharp intellect and rifle skills, Marisol ruthlessly eliminated her family's rivals and took charge of the Syndicate. However, she turned her attention to creating a Hunter to improve profits. This neglect of her empire gave her rivals an opening. Despite surviving their assassination attempt, Marisol's health deteriorated, pushing her to merge her consciousness with the Hunter she had financed.
Marisol Zamora was born and raised in Colombia, just outside of Bogotá. Her father, Santiago Zamora, was a criminal of some repute who had a significant stake in the Colombian narcotics trade. Using his influence, Santiago bought or strong-armed his way onto one of the first space colonization ships. Once safely in orbit, he quickly set about rebuilding a crime syndicate that would come to span all the space stations.
Intelligence, cold intellect, the will to blackmail the authorities, and her superb skill with a rifle helped Marisol take out her closest competitors. Some people doubted that her brother and father's deaths were accidents, but they didn't dare speak up for long—Marisol made sure of that. She fiercely headed the crime syndicate, continuing in the family business.
From the moment the First Hunter came into being, Marisol's sole focus was on creating another one, using her criminal earnings to finance the project. She understood the important role Hunters would serve in the new world order and knew she needed to control one. But in her obsession with this new endeavor, she neglected her empire, giving her rivals a chance to strike.
She miraculously survived the shuttle explosion they had plotted for her, but when she woke, she found herself in dire medical straits and was given the news that she was dying. In response, she ordered her staff to immediately attempt to merge her consciousness with the Hunter she had paid to create.
